Dang Hoang Giang is an advocate and a researcher on civil society and good governance researcher. He has designed and participated in many innovative projects on performance of local governments, transparency and accountability. He writes for diverse media and appears regularly on TV to talk about social trends, justice and devevelopment.

Being a social activist, Dr. Dang has created open forums which serve as spaces of civil society, for dialogues, knowledge dissemination and critical discussions.

Dr. Dang Hoang Giang holds a Master degree on Information Technology (Technical University Ilmenau, Germany) and a Ph.D. degree on development economics (Vienna University of Technology, Austria).
